Sagal Foundation is a nonprofit, multidisciplinary development organization based in Kismayo, Jubaland.

Established in January 2025, the Foundation is dedicated to delivering sustainable, community-centered solutions in infrastructure support, education, healthcare, and environmental protection, including waste management and fire safety.

  • Our leadership team comprises dedicated professionals with diverse expertise who are passionate about sustainable development and community empowerment:

    • Abdirahman Hassan, Executive Director: With extensive experience in nonprofit management and community development, Abdirahman provides visionary leadership to the Foundation, steering strategic initiatives and fostering partnerships.

    • Ibrahim Sheikh Hassan, Program Manager: An expert in educational program design, Ibrahim oversees our health and education initiatives, ensuring they meet community needs and align with our mission.

    • Mohamed Abdiwahab, Environmental Coordinator: With a background in environmental science, Mohamed leads our waste management and fire safety programs, promoting sustainable practices and environmental stewardship.

    • Omar Mohamed, Community Engagement Officer: Omar focuses on building relationships with community members and local organizations, facilitating collaboration and participation in our projects.
